I wrote the story too. The names on the map are a bit odd sounding when you say them out loud. Mr Upton can probably tell you where the country is. A big city nearby is called Berlin. Maybe you can look on Atlas to find it.

Maps and globes are pretty cool. Lots of people like maps, I think because they are little pictures of the world.

There was a lady called Beryl Markham who liked maps and kept them to remind herself of where she had been. Maybe you can Google her name and find out why she liked maps. I like maps for the same reasons too and have some of different places.

I read about the minilegends on the “Science Blogs”. I thought it might have been a class in the United States (because most of the bloggers there are Americans). I was very surprised and pleased when I saw Mr Upton is a teacher in Glenelg. I live in Adelaide too.

It is a really great thing you guys are doing and not only are you a minilegend, but a world famous one now

Do you know where the picture on your banner was taken? I like it a lot, it was a great choice!

I have a blog too, but I think Mr Upton would need to check it out first.
